Put It In Perspective

Track days aren't cheap. Here's how PaddockPro Clubman compares to what you're already spending:

Typical Track Day Costs

Track day entry £150-300
Fuel for the day £80-150
Set of brake pads £80-200
Post-track pint and burger £15-25
PaddockPro Clubman (monthly) £7.99

At £7.99/month, PaddockPro Clubman costs less than a single set of brake pads. If it saves you one wasted session where you're chasing setup issues you already solved last year, it's paid for itself.

What You’re Actually Paying For

The core value is the alignment specification tool. You tell it what you're driving, what tyres you're running, what you're trying to achieve — and it generates camber, caster, and toe targets specific to your setup.

This isn't generic forum advice like "run -2.5° all round". It's calculated for your car. A Fiesta ST on semi-slicks needs different specs than an E46 M3 on road tyres, even at the same circuit. PaddockPro knows the difference.

The data-driven analysis is the second major value. It watches your session notes, spots correlations you’d never catch manually, and flags when you’ve hit the same problem before. “Last time you had understeer at Donington in these conditions, you reduced front toe-out by 0.5mm and it sorted it.” You wouldn’t remember that six months later. PaddockPro does.

Weather correlation might sound like overkill, but if you've ever turned up to a wet Brands Hatch and thought "what did I run here last time it rained?", you'll get it. The tool logs ambient temperature, track temperature, and conditions automatically. When similar weather rolls around, it shows you what worked before.

What You’re Not Paying For

We're not charging for things you can do yourself:

  • Simple pricing — Rookie to Pro are flat monthly
  • No data export fees — it's your data, take it whenever you want
  • No storage limits — log unlimited sessions
  • No feature-gating — each tier includes everything it promises

If you only do one track day a year, start with Rookie (FREE). But if you're doing 2+ days across different circuits, with setup changes between events, Clubman is worth it.

Is It Worth It For Me?

Honest answer:

  • 1 track day a year: Start with Rookie (FREE). A notebook will do you fine.
  • 2-4 track days a year: Clubman (£7.99/mo). You'll forget your baseline between events, and that costs time.
  • 5+ track days a year: Clubman or Pro. The data insights alone will find things you’d never notice.
  • Club racing: Pro (£14.99/mo). Consistency across sessions matters, and PaddockPro helps you repeat what works.
  • Race teams: PaddockPro Team (coming soon). Multi-car management, guided workshop flows, live timing integration.

We'd rather be honest. If you're only doing one track day a year, start free with Rookie. But if you're doing 2 or more days — especially at different circuits — the setup recall and pattern analysis genuinely help.

PaddockPro vs The Alternatives

vs Notebooks

Notebooks are great until you're stood in the paddock at Silverstone trying to remember what tyre pressures worked in the dry six months ago. You think you wrote it down. Can't find the page. PaddockPro gives you instant recall — search by circuit, by weather, by car.

vs Spreadsheets

Spreadsheets work if you're disciplined about updating them. Most people aren't. Even if you are, they don't spot patterns. "You've run this front camber three times and complained about turn-in every time" — a spreadsheet won't tell you that. PaddockPro will.

vs Memory

You think you remember your baseline. Then you turn up to the track and realise you changed dampers since last time, or swapped tyres, or ran a different alignment spec. Memory fails when you're juggling multiple variables across months. PaddockPro doesn't forget.

The Real Cost of Not Having This

Let's be blunt about what happens when you don't have proper setup tracking:

Wasted sessions chasing known issues. You spend the first session trying to remember what worked last time. By session two you've remembered it was the dampers, not the alignment. Session three you're finally back to your baseline. That's half your track day gone.

Tyre wear from wrong setup. Running too much camber because "someone on PistonHeads said so" kills your inside edges. That's £600 for a new set of semi-slicks because you didn't know your car needed less aggressive camber on that tyre compound.

Lost track time figuring out your baseline. Time spent in the pits adjusting dampers or tyre pressures is time you're not on circuit. If PaddockPro saves you 20 minutes per track day working out your starting point, that's 20 minutes of actual driving you've gained back. At £200-300 per track day, that's real value.

No Hidden Costs

Just to be clear:

  • No setup fees — you pay monthly, that's it
  • No feature gates — each tier includes everything it promises
  • Clear per-tier limits — know exactly what you get before you pay
  • No data limits — log unlimited sessions
  • Cancel anytime — no contracts, no exit fees (monthly plans)

If you cancel a monthly plan, you keep access until the end of your billing period.
